The Employee Retirement Income Security Act (“ERISA”) requires every employer- sponsored health and welfare plan to have and maintain a written Plan Document and Summary Plan Description (or a combined Plan Document and SPD). It is your obligation under ERISA to have these documents in place. We will assist you in producing a Plan Document / SPD for the sponsoring employer, leaving you the obligation under ERISA, including your disclosure obligations to you as the plan participants. The document we provide will contain information currently required under ERISA and other Federal legislation and regulations as of the date of issue.
Although we have made every effort to accurately reflect your company’s information, the terms and provisions of benefits, and overall plan design, it is strongly recommended that information we provide you should be reviewed by your own legal counsel.
